and the Eastern capital! The latter is the literal name of Tokyo,
the
capital in the land of the rising sun. And what is Tokyo famous for?
Maybe for its history, art or architecture
of
Japan?
It's
renowned for all the stated facts above. Travel Japan and Tokyo because
it can boast being the
seat of parliament, home to the Imperial family of Japan and some 12
million of people; the Rainbow bridge and the tower of Tokyo. Truth
be told the metropolis of Tokyo includes 23 city parts, 26 cities,
several towns and villages, and all these are located on several
islands. The first capital of the Japanese state was Kyoto, then it
removed to Edo and later Edo became Tokyo, though one mega city
appeared only in 1943, and was heavily ruined in the Kanto
Earthquake, and during the World War II. But even these don't
stand in its way to become one of the biggest and most powerful cities
in the world, with
the second hugest stock, that's Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Tokyo itself can be surely called one
of the best
places in Japan,
because it's really rich in sightseeings and attractions and places of
interest. There are hundreds of smaller and bigger museums among places
of art in Japan.
If you travel
Japan, visit the most renowned that are the National Museum
of
Western
art and of science, the Metropolitan Art Museum, all of them are
located in Ueno park, a museum and cherry trees park, the sakura
blossom attracts here thousands of people from all over the world, and
Nezu Art Museum, the Diet library and the Imperial Palace that's
immensely huge and extremely beautiful.

islands, national parks and mountains, because
the metropolis is located on several mountains
the highest of which is mount Kumotori and on several islands among
which the largest are Izu and Ogasawara. and there are four reserves in
Tokyo Prefecture, so it's the city of tall skyscrapers, folk villages,
small islands, national reserves, blue sea and high peaks.
