History of Japan: the Great and the Sad |
Travel
Japan, because its
people are attentive and business-like. It's a great
and wonderful nation to get to know. And Japan is supposed to be one
of the oldest countries in the world, because it was the Japanese
land, that some first pottery pieces were found at. First inhabitants
settled on the Archipelago of Japan in some 1300 BC and were gatherers,
fishers and hunters. During some 300 BC and 300 AD, the so called
Yayoi period, the first class diversity was noted and the time is as
well famous for rice,
metal and new pottery patterns from
Korea and China origins. Then the first springs of Buddhism were
mentioned, and the ruling class propagated it, though people
rejected. In the eighth century some state origins took place in Nara
and three centuries later the samurai caste appeared. Travel Japan
and experience its great history. It should be stated that the rich
country of Japan used to have some wars on its territory including,
civil, conquering and defeating wars.
History of Japan is
multifarious. Though the country is sea separated, but trading has no
borders. And in the 16th century first foreign
ships
moored to the Japanese coast bringing European cultural patterns and
technologies. Japan used its power and gains and conquered Korea,
Taiwan, some Sakhalin after the British-like parliament system was
set. Till the First World War Japan conquered her neighbours and had
no other expansion, but then she spread her power farther and gained
control of Manchuria leading to the League of Nations withdrawal and
later resulting in uniting with Nazi Germany and joining The Axis
Powers.
Frankly
speaking the
history of Japan seems to be an evasion history. Because later on
some more wars started with the USA, Britain and the Netherlands.
There is hardly a person who has never heard of Pearl Harbour
catastrophe and about Nagasaki and Hiroshima atomic disasters. The
cities became graves to thousands of people. This dirty war led the
country to an awful situation with little left, though at first much
was gained. There are controversial views who are those people
guilty, but the Emperor is believed to have clear conscience, isn't
he? Was the war worthy? The history will answer the question.
But
now landing in Japan
while travel Japan and stepping on this long-suffering land we see no
disasters and war ruins, but bright sky and flourishing greenery. The
manifold art
in Japan reflects all the periods of its history
and absorbed some other nations' patterns.
Travel Japan and
touch its centuries-long history and vivid life!
